Description

Hacking CMMC is a hands-on cybersecurity competition designed to immerse participants in the practical aspects of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). Through realistic, challenge-based scenarios, players explore common compliance gaps, security controls, and threats faced by defense contractors.

The CTF blends technical problem-solving with compliance-driven thinking, helping participants understand how security requirements translate into real-world incidents. It offers an engaging way to learn, test skills, and strengthen readiness for CMMC-aligned environments.

The CTF will be a Jeopardy Style CTF where every team will have a list of challenges in different categories like Reverse Engineering, Web Security, Digital Forensics, Network Security and others. For every challenge solved, the team will get a certain amount of points depending on the difficulty of the challenge. The team who will get the highest score at the end of the day will be the winning team.

The CTF will run for 3 days as per the schedule below:

• Friday, 7 Aug: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM PDT (7 hours)
• Saturday, 8 Aug: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM PDT (7 hours)
• Sunday, 9 Aug: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM PDT (2 hours)

Conditions

• Sharing the flags between different teams is prohibited.
• Brute Force attacks on the challenges submission portal or challenges links are not allowed.
• Any attack against the site or the hosted servers will be observed and the player will be banned from participating in the CTF immediately.
• Organizers have the permission to disqualify teams for any unethical behavior or any trials to interrupt the CTF.
